    Death of Lucius Romaine Adle. Lucius Romaine Adle, a life-long resident of the town of 
Lenox, with the exception of a short residence in Oneida, died at the home of his daugh- 
ter, Mrs A. J. Parkhurst, at Clockville, at 10 o'clock in the motrning, on New Year's Day. Mr. 
Adle was born in the town of Lenox October 20, 1843, and was the son of Conrad and Abbie 
Raymond Adle. On December 23, 1863 he married Elizabeth Snyder, She has been dead 
several years. Mr. Adle was a man of several business interests, a member of the I. O. O. F. 
and active in town and community matters. He is survived by one son, Seymour Adle of 
Canastota, and two daughters, Mrs. A. W. McGowan of Syracuse and Mrs. A. J. Parkhurst 
of Clockville, also by three grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Funeral services will be 
held at the house in Clockville on Saturday, January 4th, at 2 o'clock. Rev. A, H, Burnett, 
former pastor and now of Jamesvillwe, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Clockville 
cemetery.
