LEBANON - Leslie H. Griffin, 85, of Bradley Brook Road, died Monday, Jan. 24,
2000, at Highgate Manor of Cortland. 

He was born Oct. 10, 1914, in Westville Center and had resided in Lebanon for 
many years. 

Mr. Griffin was employed at the Jamesville Quarry in Jamesville and was self 
employed in lawn maintenance and in the repair and refurbishing of tractors. 
He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

Surviving are three daughters; Hope (Jay) Smith of Cortland, Faith (Allen) 
Zaber of Whitney Point and Charity (David) Lopp of Eaton; five sons, Leslie 
(Dienna) of Truxton, Raymond (Paula) of DeRuyter, Edward (Nancy) of East 
Freetown, Willard (Beverly) of Eaton and Leonard (Tracy) of Guilford; one 
brother, Alva of Westville Center; 47 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 
and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Rebecca in 
1991 and by a son, Wesley.
