Lyman J. Olcott, Jr. 
 
  Lyman J. "Jack" Olcott, Jr., 82, of North Main Street, Canastota, died Sunday at 
Oneida Healthcare Center. 
  Born in the Town of Fenner, he lived many years in the Canastota area. He was a dairy 
farmer for many years and retired in 1988 from Queensboro Farm Products, Canastota. He was 
a member of Moose Lodge 421, Oneida, and Teamsters Local 182, Utica. 
  A daughter, Doramae "Sonya" Perry, died in 1987. 
  Survivors: His wife of 61 years. the former Marguerite V. "Peggy" Whaley; a 
daughter, Faith Burke of North Bay; two sons, Clifford L. of Oneida and Daniel of Peterboro;  
three sisters, Leona Schumaker of Kirkville and Mary DenHaese and Rosalie DeGroat, both of 
Munnsville; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. 
  Services 10 a. m. Wednesday at J. Homer Ball Funeral Home. Burial, Peterboro Cemetery.
