CANASTOTA   Mahlon A. Christman Jr., 65, of 3360 West Walworth Road, Macedon,
and a former Canastota resident, died Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at Rochester 
General Hospital following a lengthy illness. 
He was born Feb. 18, 1934, in Canastota, the son of Mahlon A. Sr. and lrma L.
Borrow Christman. 
Mr. Christman had spent his early years in the Canastota and Oneida area, 
attending the Canastota schools, and had lived in Macedon for the past 30 
He had worked for General Motors in Rochester for 27 years. Mr. Christman 
married Joan F. Durant on Feb. 19, 1955, in Vernon. Surviving are his wife; 
three sons and one daughter-in-law, Rodney and Terry Christman of Rochester, 
Randal Christman and Roderick Christman, both of Macedon; five daughters and 
four sons-in-law, Charlene and Bruce Mullins of Madison, Darlene and Fred 
Schoonmaker of Rochester, Karlene Christman of Macedon, Marlene and Wayne 
Stadtmiller of Rochester and Rhonda and Chris Orlick of Rochester; one 
brother, Richard Christman of New Hartford; five sisters, Ruth Camp of 
Canastota, Beverly Carpenter of Verona, Carol Seitz of Peterboro, Elizabeth 
Wahl of Oneida and Audrey Wilcox of Durhamville; 13 grandchildren; one great- 
grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
