 Marjorie Adle Peebles, 88, of 5699 Merry St., Verona, formerly of Oneida, died Wednesday at Faxton 
Hospital, Utica. She was born in Oneida and was a graduate of SUNY Morrisville and the State University 
College at Cortland. She was a teacher for 25 years with Oneida school district, including the former 
Wampsville Elementary School. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, AARP, Silver Star  
Chapter 21 of Order of the Eastern Star, and the Madison County, state and national retired teachers 
associations. She was also a licensed beautician. Her husband, Albert R., died in 1974. Survivors: Four 
daughters, Dixie Cipollone of Verona, Karen Francis of New York Mills, Nikki Jarema of Davie, Fla., and 
Mikki Li Puma of Coral Springs, Fla.; two sons, Albert "Don" and Myron G., both of Oneida; 18 grand-
children; 13 great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Sunday at Campbell-Dean Funeral Home. Burial, 
Glenwood Cemetery. Calling hours, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 260 Main St., 
Oneida. Contributions: St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 551 Sayles St., Oneida 13421.
