Mary A. Wiggins, 74, Sand Hill Road, died Friday evening, Aug. 6, 1999, in
the Extended Care Facility of the Oneida Healthcare Center, where she had
been a patient for the past three weeks.
She was born on April 29, 1925 in Brooklyn, the daughter of Thomas and
Agnes Hanharan Sheridan. Mrs. Wiggins was educated in Brooklyn schools and
was a resident of the Oneida area for the past 49 years. She married Allen H.
Wiggins on Dec. 24, 1945, in Ilion.
Mrs. Wiggins was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are her husband; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Douglas and
Karen Wiggins of Oneida and Tom Wiggins of Utica; three daughters and two
sons-in-law, Patrica and Thomas Brush of Dell City, Okla., June Mack and Joan
and Wade Reed, all of Oneida; one brother, Edward Sheridan of Syracuse; one
sister, Ann Allen of Syracuse, nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews. A daughter Jill Wiggins, died in 1961.
