  Mary Lou Hollingsworth 
  ONEIDA- Mary Lou Hollingsworth, 70, of West Road died Tuesday at Crouse Irving Memorial 
Hospital Hospital after a long illness. 
  A native of Constantine, Mich., Mrs. Hollingsworth lived in the Oneida area for more than 56 
years. She owned and operated the Sunshine Shoppe, an art-supply store located in her home, 
and  also co-owned with her husband Holley's Grocery Store. Mrs. Hollingsworth also taught art 
classes. She was a 1941 graduate of Oneida High School. 
  Mrs. Hollingsworth attended Bennetts Corners United Methodist Church, where she taught 
Sunday school, and was a member of the Stockbridge Valley Homemakers and the Oneida 
Castle Garden Club. She served as a Navy cryptographer during World War II. 
  Surviving are her husband, Thomas L. Sr.; a son, Thomas L. Jr.; a daughter, Diane Landers of 
Munnsville; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 
  Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Campbell-Dean Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oneida 
Castle Cemetery. 
  Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. 
  Contributions may be made to the Hollingsworth Memorial Art Scholarship Fund of Stockbridge 
Valley Schools or to the Munnsville Fire Depaetment rescue Squad.
