Peter H. Deitz
(1867 - April 16, 1929)

    CANASTOTA, April 17 - Peter H. Deitz, 62, well known in this village, 
died yesterday afternoon at Crouse Irving Hospital in Syracuse, following an 
illness with pneumonia.  He was a native of Canastota and had resided here 
nearly all his life, moving to Cicero ten years ago.  Mr. Deitz had been 
managing mucklands in Cicero for many years.  He is survived by his wife, 
Mrs. Mabel Swan Deitz;  a daughter, Mrs. Leona Jaquay of Binghamton;  a son, 
Kenneth Deitz of Cicero, a brother Edgar Deitz of Canastota, and five 
sisters, Mrs. Frank Robinson of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Lena Cole, Mrs. Clinton 
Cox, Mrs. Benjamin Taber, and Mrs. Martin Cronk, all of this village. Funeral
arrangements are incomplete. 
[Facts: Peter Henry Deitz was born in 1867, died April 16, 1929.  His twin 
sister was Mrs. Frank Robinson. The other sisters were - Lena Cole, Estella 
N. Cox, Minnie Taber and Elvettie Cronk. He was buried in Lenox Rural
