 LAKEPORT - Rosalie A. Eddy, 94, of 8926 Eddy Road, Canastota, died Monday, 
Nov. 22, 1999, at the Grouse Community Center, MorrisviUe, following a 
lengthy illness. 
 She was born June 21, 1905, in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of Edward and 
Blanche Zigler Hayes. 
 Rosalie had spent her early years in Maryland, attending school in 
Sykesville, Md. She later moved to Oneida, where she had lived for 15 years. 
Mrs. Eddy had lived in the Canastota area most of her life. She had worked as
a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Co. in Sykesville, Md. She had worked
for Oneida Ltd., in Sherrill, during World War II. 
 Mrs. Eddy's favorite hobby was crocheting. 
 Rosalie had been a member of the Oneida Lake Congregational Church. 
 She married Lawrence H. Eddy on Dec. 31, 1955, in Oneida Valley. 
 Surviving are her husband; one son and four daughters-in-law, Ernest and 
Charlotte Lust of Canastota, Mary Lust of Canastota, Marion Lust Wild of 
Moravia and Betty Lust of Sherrill; three daughters and two sons-in-law, 
Doris Hyland oi LiurnamviUe, Rosalie Jean and Jerry Kane of North Syracuse 
and Thelma and Ben Thomas of Green Castle, Pa.; one sister, Ruth Frey of 
Sykesville, Md.; 30 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; several great-
great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Rosalie was predeceased by 
four children, Robert Lust, who died in 1981, Clyde Lust Jr., who died in 
1993, Warren "Mike" Lust, who died in 1994, and Marlene Eddy, who died in
