Rose E. Mansfield 
  Rose E. Mansfield, 65, 2710 Brinegar Road,Copperas Cove, Texas, and 
formerly of Munnsville, died Sunday, July 19, 1998, in White Memorial 
Hospital, Temple, Texas,following a brief illness. 
  She was born in Munnsville on July 19, 1933, the daughter of Davis H. and 
Emma Thurston Hyland. Mrs. Mansfield was a graduate of Stockbridge Vally 
Central Schools and also had enrolled in various college courses. 
  A resident of Copperas Cove for the last 23 years, she married Fred L. 
Mansfield in El Paso, Texas, on Feb. 29, 1960. Mr. Mansfield died on May 14, 
  Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Mansfield was city secretary for the City of 
Copperas Cove. She was a member of the Exchange Club of Copperas Cove, the 
American Business Women's Association and the Copperas Cove Retirees. 
  She was of the Methodist faith. 
  Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Homer Summers of 
Copperas Cove, Pamela and Greg Harper of Dallas, Texas, and Vickie and Bernie 
Robinson of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Bert Hyland of Lakeport and Harold 
Hyland of Wampsville; four sissters, Mrs. Neil (Abbie) Deraway of Munnsville, 
Mrs. Joseph (Blanche) Maiura of Oneida, Mrs. Clarence (Gloria) Chesebro of
Sherrill, and Mrs. Phillip (Ruth) Griffin of Oneida Castle; two grand-
children, Paul Mech and Joseph Mech; three great-grandchildren, Michela Mech, 
Adam Mech and Hope Costa; and several nieces, and nephew, and cousins.
