Robert I. Harrington 
  Robert I. Harrington, 85, of 7861 Gee Road, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 1999,
at Crouse Hospitals, following a brief illness. 
  He was born on March 24, 1914 in Canastota, the son of Orla and Helen 
Warden Harrington. 
  Mr. Harrington had lived in the Canastota area all of his life, graduating
from Canastota High School. 
  He had owned and operated a crop fram, which he ran with his wife, for many
years, retiring in 1986. 
  Mr. Harrington was a World War II veteran, serving with the U.S. Army. 
  He married Alice E. Fritz on Jan. 28, 1943 in Canastota. Mrs. Harrington 
died on Sept. 24, 1996. 
  Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Rebecca 
Harrington of North Bay, Bruce Harrington and Brian and Gloria Harrington, 
all of Canastota; two daughters and one son-in-law, Pamela Harrington and 
Kimberly and James Baker, all of Canastota; one brother, Jack Harrington of 
Salt Lake City, Utah; one sister, Mrs. Roger (Kathy) Johnson of Chittenango;
14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
