Theresa Rinaldo Spinelli Rolewicz

ONEIDA - Theresa Rinaldo Spinelli Rolewicz, 94, formerly of 334 Cleveland
Ave., died Monday morning, Feb. 7, 2000, in Martin Luther Nursing Home, where
she had been a resident for the past 10 years.
She was born on June 5, 1905, in Oneida, the daughter of Raymond and
Nicoletta Mangelia Rinaldo. Mrs. Rolewicz was educated in local schools. She
married Joseph Spinelli on October 30, 1920. Mr. Spinelli died on June 12,
1960. Later she married Joseph Rolewicz on July 14, 1973. Mr. Rolewicz died
July 7, 1979.
Mrs. Rolewicz has been a lifelong resident of Oneida. During World War II,
Mrs. Rolewicz worked at the Mastercraft Company and later worked for Jack's
Tasty Snacks Corporation for many years.
Mrs. Rolewicz was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.
Surviving are one son and three, daughters-in-law, Frank R. and Barbara
Spinelli of New Hartford, and Becky Spinelli and June Spinelli, both of
Oneida; one step-son and daughter-law, Raymond and Jackie Rolewicz of
Blossvale; five step daughters and their husbands, Evelyn and George Schremp
and Joanne and Landen M. Martin, all of Fredricksburg, Va., Elaine and
Richard Carello of Oneida, Gloria Rolewicz of Canastota and Michele and
Steven Ferris of Middleburgh, Fla.; three sisters-in-law, Grace Rinaldo of
Oneida, Alice Rinaldo of Tucson, Ariz. and Lucy Pawlikowski of Durhamville;
eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; several great-great-
grandchildren; and many step-grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was
predeceased by two sons, Nicholas J. Spinelli, who died in November of 1990,
and Raymond J. Spinelli Sr., who died on Aug. 6, 1997; and two brothers,
Peter J. Rinaldo Sr., who died on May 23, 1980 and Anthony R. Rinaldo, who
died on May 31, 1984.
