Dies from Apolexy Stroke
Zelos Boyer, 64, gate tender at Canastota, died at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning in an Oneida
hospital. Coroner William T. Tanner said death was due to shock. Mr. Boyer was stricken with
apoplexy while on a motor truck enroute to see his stepdaughter at Moot Hill, three miles
southwest of Oneida.
Boyer, who formerly conducted a farm near Oneida, leased this farm to his son-in-law and
worked as a gatetender at the Cansatota crossing.
