Following are extracts from diaries maintained by Lucy Rich Cutler (February
24, 1818 - ), widow of Charles Cutler ( - 1873). The transcripts were 
provided by Donna Dorrance Burdick, Historian for the Town of Smithfield. An 
item enclosed in parens is a comment while items in brackets were considered 
questionable/iffy during transcription by Mrs. Burdick.
