He was my fraternal grandfather whom I never met. He married my grandmother Vera LAMB on November 29, 1933 possibly in Coudersport, PA. They had three children one of whom is my mother. He then left and they divorced. He was never to be heard from again.

I am searching for the parentage of Ira FOSTER b. 1781 NH, whose son Ira Jr. was b. 1810 Oneida Co., NY. I have found Ira Sr. in the census records for 1820, 1830, 1840, and 1850 in Smithfield and Stockbridge, Madison Co., NY. (Stockbridge being formed from parts of Smithfield township). He is listed in the 1860 census for Wayne, Cass, MI, in the home of Wells CARVER -- -who is living next door to him in the 1850 census. Ira FOSTER (1781-1864), Sarah FOSTER (1788-1869) and Wells CARVER (1820-1864) are all buried in Allen Cemetery, Silver Creek, Cass, Michigan. I have also located 1795 - Joseph FOSTER of Wethersfield, CT --- listed among the first pioneers of Hamilton township, Madison, NY. Is there any information linking these people? Can anyone help me with FOSTER information?

Joseph LIPE was mentioned in the 1826 Cazenovia Town Road Book. From the 1910 obituary of his son, John Y. LIPE (b. 1825 Cazenovia d. Michigan) I found that Joseph also had at least two other children: Mrs. Abby J. SHULTS and Abram LIPE (both of Syracuse, NY). I know that John Y. LIPE left for Michigan in 1849, after he married Deadonna EVANS (b. Jun 1825 NY, d. 1896 MI). With the exception of John, nothing is known about any of the others.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Mary Ann Hubbell

Seeking information on my gg-grandmother Isadora "Dora" Violette STUART born in Madison Co., NY on 15 February 1847. Her birthdate and spelling of her name is found written in a family Bible that her daughter-in-law filled out.

I am seeking information about the Rev. William KING, born in RI 1787. He is my GrGrGrGrandfather. He is reported in "Abstracts from Madison County Newspapers" by Mary Keysor Meyers as having been married to Mary BOOTH in Cazenovia on 24 Dec 1808 by Ebenezer Lyon, Esq. per the Cazenovia Pilot of Dec 1808. The pair are reported to be "Of Nelson". William KING is reported in the 1810 Madison County Census pg 131 as married with a daughter under 10 years of age.
Mary BOOTH was the daughter of Isaiah BOOTH and the BOOTH family presence in Madison County and the Town of Nelson is well documented. However the origin of this Rev. William KING is unknown. Nor have I found from which church he qualified for the title of Rev. The trail is lengthy and widely varied after Madison Co. but William in again found in the 1850 census living with his son Martin A. KING in Erie County, PA and near his son William Booth KING and across the road from his probable brother Robert T. KING. R. F. KING is reported in the 1810 census only a few houses down from William in Nelson, Madison Co., NY. The divorce of Robert T. KING is also reported in the same newspaper source cited above. Any assistance in this search will be welcome. I would appreciate any information about this KING family and am particularly interested in who his siblings were as well as who his parents were.

Marda BUCHHOLZ Thu Sep 19 19:00:32 2002
I am seeking information on Pauline BUCHHOLZ, married to SEIFERT or SEIFFERT. Pauline was sister to Adelaide [married F. BEHRENS], Gustave, Paul, and Rudolph BUCHHOLZ, all of whom emigrated to the U.S. from Prussia in the 1860s-1880s.
Family information says that she died in Rochester, New York and had a son Wilhelm Adolar who returned to Germany. However, the April 1921 obituary of Paul BUCKHOLTZ [sic] says that he is survived by [among others] a sister Miss SEIFERI of Germany.
