I am researching the BURR family in Madison County from about 1790 through 1860, approx. Freeman BURR, my great, great grandfather was born in Madison County in 1819/1820. He then moved to Oswego County where he had a large family.

Nathaniel WORDEN...received 150 acres from Holland Land Purchase in 1793 - Town of Cazenovia.
1800 census shows 1 male age 25-44, 1 female age 25-44, 3 females ages 0-9 and 3 females 10-15. Is listed as Nathan WORDEN in 1805 and 1816 - Overseer of Hwy. Am wondering if he is father of my G-G-Grandfather, Ira WORDEN, born Aug 11, 1814, who had a furniture (& coffin) store in Chittenango in 1854 and who is buried in Wampsville in a cemetery that I cannot find the name of - but I think "is at the top of the hill on the west side of town on Hwy 5".

I am looking for information on Hulda (Hilda) EKSTRAND who was my grandmother. Her Parents I believe were Franz Wilhelm EKSTRAND and (Cora?). She had several brothers and sisters, Florence,Oscar,(Cordelia?)
Hulda (Hilda) was married to James P McCARTNEY from Waterville. They had two children Margaret and Mary Jane McCARTNEY.

I am seeking any information on Charles GOFF and his son Glenn GOFF. Charles married Mary Melissa (Mamie) HINES of Reynoldsville, PA ca. 1912. Son Glenn born ca. 1913 or 1914. Residence Peterboro, NY. Mamie died in Reynoldsville during Flu Epidemic of 1918 and is buried there. Thank you.

I need info about my grandfather Isaac SOUTHWORTH. He was a Baptist minister in Rathbone, Steuben County, New York for 18 years after he graduated from Hamilton College. I'd like to know what church he preached in. He married Hester Ann HOWARD from Mondovi, Wisconsin. Isaac was born June 8, 1812. He moved to Mondovi, Wisconsin in 1860 and continued as a pastor for 5 more years. He died June 13, 1866 and is buried in Oak Park Cemetery in Mondovi. Thanks for any leads.

I am looking for information on my gggg grandparents, Stephen REED and Lucinda Surviva (WARREN) REED, both buried in the Old Burying Ground in DeRuyter, New York. Stephen REED's approximate date of birth is 1788. I don't know where he was born, his date of death was 1860. Lucinda Surviva (WARREN) REED, approximate date of birth was March 22/23 1790, she died and was buried in 1854. It gave Stephen's age as 72 years 6 mos., and for Lucinda it gave her age as 64 years, 7 months and 8 days. According to family folklore, Lucinda Surviva WARREN was the daughter of a general of the Revolutionary War. Lucinda's mother was Lucy HOPKINS. I really have no information on either one of them. Anyone out there with information? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Debera.

I have been searching for 10 + year's for the birth place of my great-grandfather Jeremiah W. MENTER all I have to go on is that he was born in Madison County, New-York approximently in March of 1824. I would like very much to find the name's of his parent's I don't even know if he had any brother's or sister's.

I know that in the 1850's he was married to a Sally that was from New York, I think her name was also Sally and they had three chirldren. Ida MENTER, Josephine MENTER, George MENTER all born in the 1850's. All the children were born in New York except Josephine she was born in Wisconsin.

There is record of a Samuel and Sabrina JAQUAY living in the Chittenango area of Madison Co.in 1815 And also a Nathan JAQUAY 1820. Would any one have any ideas as to where they may have been buried. Samuel died between 1820-1830, Nathan after 1830. Have no idea about Sabrina. Would appreciate any thoughts. I have checked cemeteries with that area with no results.

I'm looking for the names of the parents of Albert Henry CAMP, (born Nov 1, 1856) who married Myra ST. JOHN (born May 22, 1857) in Leonardsville on May 5, 1885. They lived the remainder of their life in Saginaw, Michigan but I believe that they are both buried in Leonardsville. Myra was quite a personality: according to family legend, she kept her last name (as many wives do now), but she did this in 1885!

Myra's parents were George Whitfield ST. JOHN and Phoebe GREEN.

I am looking for information on all Josiah ROGERS in NY. There were two in the 1820 census for Madison. One in Hamilton and one in Brookfield. I am more interested in the Josiah located in Brookfield. He had three daughters under 10 years in 1820.

My particular Josiah had at least two daughters, Eunice [abt 1814] and Sarah A. [1816] who married TRIMBLE brothers in IL in the 1830s.
Any information or being pointed in possible directions would be greatly appreciated.

Joel PAIN (PAINE, PAYNE) was living in Madison Co., N.Y. in 1800, according to the Federal Census. He was born in 1762, or 1763, in Massachusetts, or England. His wife's name was Lucene. Four children named: Clarissa, Horace, Oren and Augustus. Either by trade, or by need, Joel, and later Augustus were weavers and farmers. Following the time they lived in Madison and perhaps Chenango Co., N.Y., they migrated further west to Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties, also in N.Y.recorded there in the cenuses of 1820 and 1830.

Joel died in 1835 in Villanova, Hamlet, Chautauqua County, N.Y. Augustus and his wife, Julianne, lived in Cold Spring, near Randolph, N.Y. Their son, Eugene S. PAYNE, daughter Olive (PAYNE) ROOT, settled in Corydon, McKean Co. Pa. Another son, Mortimer died in Sugar Grove, Warren Co., Pa. and another daughter, Elizabeth (PAYNE) GARDENER, settled in Strawberry Point, Iowa.

Has anyone, additional information on this family, or confirm dates and locations? Joel is my g g g g grandfather.

[Info on parents and siblings.] He moved with his family one year later to Genesee Co., NY. He married Emaline EUCHES at Lake Co., NY in 1839. The only information I have on his parents: Father born in MA, mother born in CT. C. J. RHODES died in Hebron, Thayer Co., NE in 1899.
