MORE EFFECTS OF THE CURSE - A young man named Andrew TEN EYCK, aged 22, was
frozen to death near Bound Brook, on the 31st Jan. He started to go a short
distance, but being intoxicated, fell down and was frozen.

At Lyons, on the 26th ult, Mr. Ira PLATT, aged 26 years and 11 months. As
a friend, a brother, and a son, the memory of the deceased will long be cherished
by those who knew him in these interesting and endearing relations; and community
at large will miss from its busy concerns, an active citizen, and an honest

On Thursday, 9th ult, in Canandaigua, of consumption, Mary, eldest daughter
of Jas. D. BEMIS, Editor of the Repository, aged 17.
