DIED
At Canandaigua on the morning of the 22d inst., Nathaniel GORHAM, late President of the Ontario Bank, aged 63 years.

We are informed, says the Poughkepsie Telegraph, that John Jacob ASTOR has commenced ejectment suits against those persons residing on the lands claimed by him in the county of Putnam. The writs are returnable to the United States Court, to be held in the city of New-York on the last Monday of this month. Several suits have been commenced, which will decide the fate of the whole.
