In East Bloomfield, on the 17th instant, by Rev Mr. Parker, Mr. Lorenzo B.
Noyes, to Miss Nancy P. Reynolds, allot that place. By the same, at the same
time and place, Mr. H. Ward, of East Bloomfield, to Miss Cynthia B. Reynolds, of
East Bloomfield.
In Auburn, on the 18th inst., by Rev. G. W. Montgomery, Mr. Henry A. Hawes,
printer, to Miss Elizabeth Stone, all of that place.
In New York on the 16th instant, by Rev. George B. Cheevor, Mr. Wm. Ninde Cole
one of the editors of the Wayne County Whig, of Lyons, to Miss Emily W.,
daughter of the late Ovid Goldsmith, of the former place.
DIED:
In this city, on the 25th inst., Tunis L. Barhydt, aged 41 years. Funeral
tomorrow morning at half past 10 o'clock, at his late residence, on Kent street.
At Henrietta, on the evening of the 25th instant, Samuel G. Brown, son of Joseph
Brown, Esq., in the 23d year of his age.
After a lingering scene of pain, which he bore with uncommon
fortitude, he departed this world, seemingly without a struggle, and left his
numerous friends to mourn their loss and profit by his example. With prospects
as fair as any young man, he resigned himself to the will of God, and is now
rejoicing with the redeemed, and singing praise, to the Author of his being.
In Sweden. on the 23d inst., in the 25th year of her age, Mrs. Mary Ann, wife of
Erwin W. Bartlee, and daughter of widow Mariah Crippon, deeply lamented by a
large circle of friends.
In Batavia, on the 2lst inst., Mrs. Louisa Bush, wife of Mr. William Bush, aged
60 years.
On the 19th instant, of consumption, William Asahel Davis, son of Mr. Asahel
Davis,
aged 19 years, 7
months and 5 days.
In East Bloomfield, on the 13th instant, of pulmonary consumption, Miss
Esther Maria Pierce,
aged 15 years.
Also, on the 17th inst., of the same disease, Miss Lucy
Bronson Pierce, aged 24
