DEATHS

 

In Batavia, on the 30th ult., Thankful, _ENC_, of the late Nathan TOWNSEND, in the _8th year of her age.

 

At his residence in Elba, Genesee co., N. Y., on the 30th July, William WILDER, aged _2 years and 2 months.

 

At Bergen on the 1st inst., Mrs. Lucinda WARD, wife of Deacon John WARD, in the 80th year of her age.

    She came with her husband from Connecticut into the country in 1807(?) She was one of the first members of the second church formed west of Genesee river. Her life was an example of active, consistent piety, and we trust her death to be in ga--.

 

At Waterloo, W. T. Henry SHEARS, late of Monroe county, N. Y., aged 60 years.

    In the death of Mr. SHEARS, his family are left to lament ___ and a_cuenate husband and father, and the community a worthy and much esteemed citizen.
