DIED
In this city, on the 11th inst., after a lingering illness of consumption, Miss Delia EMERY, aged 24 years. The
deceased had for several years been an active and devoted member of the First Baptist Church in this city. She
was an Orphan Girl - dependant upon her own exertion for support - with none of kin in this country to look to
for aid. She however, built up for herself in the hearts of those who most intimately enjoyed her acquaintance
a monument upon which is inscribed her worth, her gentleness of spirit, her consistency of Christian character.
-The funeral will take place at the First Baptist Church at 2 o'clock this (Friday) afternoon. - Rev. Mr. THOM?SON
it is expected will conduct the services.
In this city, February 12th, Van Rensselaer, infant son of V. R. JACKSON, aged 4 months.
