Death of John T. Talman.

We are pained to announce the decease of Mr. J. T. TALMAN, who died at about 3 o'clock yesterday of pleurisy. Mr. TALMAN was one of the oldest and most esteemed of our citizens. He has been a resident of this city about 30 years. He was for several years Cashier of the Bank of Rochester, and afterwards for 8 or 10 years Cashier of the Bank of Monroe. He was faithful to every duty as a citizen, and sympathised in every enterprise of public utility, and particularly in every work of charity and benevolence. His death makes a blank in St. Luke's Church, of which he was a member and an ornament, and also in the general society of the city, not easily repaired or appreciated.   psm
