Damages By The Flood in Henrietta - Mr. L. W. BROWN, the Census Enumerator
for the Second Election District of Henrietta, made careful inquiry with a purpose
to determine the extent of damage in that town by the great flood of last March.
He has no doubt obtained the figures for a close approximation to the actual
loss sustained. They are as follows:

Dr. LISTON Coming Again - The celebrated consulting and operating surgeon
Dr. LISTON, who devotes particular attention to discases of the eye and car,
will make his next professional visit to Rochester on the 24th inst. And will
remain two days. He will have rooms at the Osburn House and will be prepared
to see all the afflicted who may require his advice or who would seek relief
at his hands. Those who would consult him should be ready to call on the days
stated.

Delay in Paying the Regiments - Major SCHOLEFIELD, Paymaster of the United
States, is at the Brackett House. He comes here to pay the Eighth Cavalry, but
does not find their papers ready. It will probably be a week before the papers
will be in a situation to enable him to make payment to the men.

Free Academy Commencement - The Commencement exercises of the Free Academy
will take place this evening at Corinthian Hall, commencing at 8 o'clock. There
are eighteen to graduate, of which ten are young ladies and eight young gentleman.
The ceremonies are free to the public.

The Clyde Fire - According to the Lyons Republican the main building of the
Clyde Glass Works was not destroyed by fire on Monday morning. The bottle factory
and flattening house were burned, with a loss of seven or eight thousand dollars.

Woman Killed - A woman was run over by a freight train yesterday, just west
of Byron and killed. She was engaged in driving cattle from the track and did
not take as good care of herself as of the animal. No particulars are known
here, other than are stated.

A Young Vagrant - A girl of only eleven years has been sent to Randall's
Island from Buffalo for vagrancy.
