Rochester, Monroe, NY
Union & Advertiser
Wed Nov. 1, 1871
PERSONAL - Our fellow citizen Thomas PARSONS, Esq., still remains in Canada,
where he has been lying for some months ill of rheumatism. He is still quite
helpless, and does not show many favorable symptoms.
Col. A. T. LEE is in town spending a few days. He still retains his position
in charge of the Soldiers' Home at Washington, D. C. It is now over three
years since he ceased to be a resident of Rochester. His old friends and
acquaintances are right glad to shake his hand once more.
