SOCIETY OF NATURAL SCIENCE

A meeting of the Rochester Society of Natural Science was held in the Free academy yesterday afternoon, Dr. Sarah A. DOLLY, presiding, and Mrs. William STREETER, secretary. The principal feature of the meeting was the reading of a paper on "Fossal Animals of the Quarterary," by Mrs. Emma H. LLES(?). The next meeting will be held in about one month, and it was decided at yesterday's meeting to hold the future meetings of the society in the evening instead of the afternoon. This society, it should be remembered, is not composed of experts or professional scientists, but is intended for the advancement of amateurs in the study of natural science.
