-Henry N. KNICKERBOCKER, a farmer, aged seventy-two years, was run over and
killed at Chili last evening. KNICKERBOCKER lived about half a mile south of
the station. Coroner SHARPE was notified, but did not deem it necessary to hold
an inquest. The deceased leaves a wife and four children.
-While changing seats in a coach at the Central depot last evening, Mary
GLEASON of Geneva dropped her pocketbook. A woman in the car picked it up and
started for the exit gate detective KAVANAUGH overtook her and secured the property,
which he returned to the owner.
