POLICE COMMISSIONERS' MEETING

At the meeting of the Police Commissioners this forenoon Henry G. BENDER was appointed a special officer to do duty at the People's Theater, and C. L. SHEPARD was appointed to act in a similar capacity at the Academy of Music, on filing the necessary bond. In the case of Officer FITZPATRICK a resolution was adopted dismissing the complaint, although expressing the opinion that the arrest of the party, out of which the charges arose, should have been avoided. A complaint was made against Officer CRONE by August M. SNYDER, who claimed that he was illegally arrested by the officer. The date of the annual parade and review was fixed for October 16th, at 2 o'clock.
