Lyons--Thomas J. Agett, a well known retired farmer, died this morning from heart disease at his home on Catherine street, aged about 70 years. Deceased was at one time a school teacher and afterwards owned a large farm east of the village. He is survived by a widow, one son, Albert, a daughter, Miss Nellie, a brother William W. Agett, all of this village.

Dansville--Matthew McCartney died early this morning at his home on Elizabeth street. He was one of the oldest residents of Dansville, being 84 years of age and had spent all his life here. His parents were Scotch. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday. He leaves a wife and one daughter.

Greece--Mrs. Hillman, widow of the late William Hillman, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. William Mitchell, of old age. Mrs. Hillman was born at King's Bridge, England, in 1811, and came to this country in 1851, settling in the town of Greece, where she has resided since, with the exception of five years, from 1874 to 1879. She lived at Denver, Colo. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. William Mitchell, a brother, George Tuckett, a sister, Miss Mary Tuckett, both of England, and three grandchildren, Charles and May Mitchell of Greece, and William Mitchell of California. Funeral Friday at 2 p.m., the Rev. A. M. Hendrick officiating.

John McKelvey, aged 84 years, died at the residence of his son, William J. McKelvey, 9 Locust street on Thursday, Jan. 18, 1900.

Entered into rest on the evening of Jan. 16, 1900, Bessie Huntington Osburn, third daughter of Mary Huntington and Emory Wallace Osburn. Funeral from the family residence, No. 3 Granger place, Friday afternoon, Jan 19, at 2:30 o'clock. Burial private.

Flora Ann Morrison, aged 75 years, died at the home of her niece, Mrs. Ida Joyner, No. 222 Monroe avenue, late in the night of January 16, 1900. Funeral at 1 p.m. January 19, 1900, from the house.

Alice Redfern Gregory, in the 72d year of her age, died Thursday morning, January 18, 1900 at her residence, 78 Edinburgh street. She is survived by her children, William R. Gregory, John H. Gregory, Paul J. Gregory, Mrs. F. E. Drake and Helen E. Gregory, all of this city.

Mrs. Martha Wilbur, widow of the late Thomas Wilbur, aged 83 years, died at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Nathan P. Wilbur, 38 Scio street. She leaves one son, Myron T. Wilbur of New York city.

Fairport--Mrs.. Amelia Storms Williams, wife of Charles J. Williams, died yesterday. Mrs. Williams has been in ill health since the death of her father, William S. Storms, several years ago, but was only confined to her bed a few days before death with erysipelas. Besides her husband deceased leaves one son, Irving, who is at present living at Schenectady, one brother, W. Emerson Storms, and two sisters, Mrs. William Wheeler and Mrs. James K. Burlingame of Rochester.

Lockport--An Indian and a Knife. Bad combination which made Serious Trouble in Lockport. Tilden Pembleton, an Indian from the Tuscarora reservation, is in the jail where he is held to await the result of injuries which he inflicted on three persons while drunk. His weapon was a penknife. With it he stabbed his cousin, Daniel Pembleton, twenty-nine times; he stabbed his own father six times and may have destroyed the sight of one of the old man's eyes. Dorothy Warren, a white woman with whom he had been living, he stabbed in the thigh and arm. It required 119 stitches to close all the cuts on Daniel Pembleton.
