Nunda - Mrs. L. B. Warner of this village died suddenly at the home of her son, William, in Atlanta, Ga. Wednesday
where she went about three weeks ago expecting to remain the winter. Deceased was the aged widow of L. B. Warner
and her death was a great shock to the people in this village. A dispatch from Baltimore Depot, Ohio, stated that
the remains would arrive to-day and that the funeral would be held at 11 o'clock on Monday from her late residence
on Mass street. One daughter, Mrs. M. B. McDuffie of Santa Barbara, Cal., and two sons, Charles of Franklin, Pa.
and William of Atlanta, Ga. survive.
The death of Lucy P. Bumpus, widow of A. N. Bumpus, occurred yesterday afternoon at the family residence in Irondequoit.
The deceased was an aged resident of Monroe county, having been born in Henrietta, September 12, 1816. Deceased
is survived by two sons, William H. of Fairport and George A. of Irondequoit, and six daughters, Mrs. Thomas Foley,
Mrs. William Baker, Mrs. William Brower of Fairport, Mrs. E. D. Barker of Philadelphia, Miss Marcia M. of Irondequoit
and Mrs. Marsh Whipple of Rochester.
The funeral of Roger Brairton was held from the family residence, No. 62 Park avenue, at 8:30 o'clock this morning
and from St. Mary's Church at 9 o'clock.
Thomas Raymond, son of Joseph and Jennie Christlaw, died yesterday at the family residence, no. 32 Flint street,
aged 3 years.
Mrs. Alvah Hebbard died yesterday at the family residence, No. 102 Meigs street.
Mrs. Barbara Langknecht died yesterday at the home of her cousin, George Mattern, No. 97 Avenue A, aged 53 years.
Mrs. Elsie Pyatt died yesterday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Jessie Miller, No. 27 Cleveland street,
aged 90 years. Deceased is survived by two daughters and three sons. The remains will be taken to Newark for interment.
Halbert Collins died yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital aged 20 years. Deceased is survived by his wife, one child
and six brothers, George, Frank, Martin, John, James and William, and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Furlong and Miss
Anna Collins.
Otto Lintz, an old-time thief, once more arrested.
Otto Lintz was arraigned in the Police Court to-day on a charge of petit larceny by stealing a turkey from Cornelius
Donovan, a Henrietta farmer. Lintz pleaded not guilty and the case was put over till to-morrow. The turkey was
stolen several days ago from Mr. Donovan's wagon while he was on Front Street. It was ascertained that Lintz had
committed the theft and a warrant was sworn out for his arrest. He was taken into custody yesterday by Lieut. Stetson.
Martin Hawley was arraigned before United States Commissioner Ernest Millard this morning on the charge of robbing
the postoffice at Nunda on December 23d last. He pleaded not guilty and waived examination. He was held for the
next federal grand jury which meets in Albany this month.
