JOHN CODY DEAD
Resident of Churchville Practically All His Life
CHURCHVILLE, Mar 21, — John CODY, an aged citizen of this village, passed away at his home in Richmond Ave., at
8:30 o'clock last evening, death being due to apoplexy. Deceased was born in Kilkenny, Ireland, seventy- two years
ago and emigrated to this side of the Atlantic when 14 years of age. He was married to Miss Margaret RATIGAN forty-six
years ago. He had resided in the town of Riga ever since he came to this county. He had always been a member of
the St. Vincent de Paul's Church society of this village, from which church the funeral services will be held Saturday
morning.
Besides his wife, he leaves twelve children, Mrs. Mary HASSETT, Chili Station, Thomas CODY, Chili, Mrs. Nellie
HORTON, Scottsville, Mrs. Margaret HASSETT, Chili Center, Luke CODY of Chicago, Mrs. Agnes WILSON, of Riga, Mrs.
