DAILY RECORD OF DEATHS
The funeral of Mrs. Mary C. POHL, wife of Herman J. POHL, took place yesterday morning at 8:30 o'clock from the
home, No. 136 Lake avenue, and at 9 o'clock at Lady Chapel, St. Patrick's Cathedral. Solemn requiem mass was celebrated
by Rev. J. Francis O'HERN, assisted by Rev. O. CANALL as deacon and Rev. J. DELBOVE as subdeacon. Bishop Thomas
F. HICKEY blessed the body after the mass. The bearers were J. W. DEWHIRST, Percy DURNHERR, Leo DURNHERR, Joseph
DURNHERR, James MALLEY and Raymond CURRAN. Interment was made in the family lot in Holy Sepulchre cemetery, where
the final services were conducted by Rev. William KILLACKEY, of St. Bernard's Seminary.
E. W. HAMPTON, a gospel worker engaged in house to house work, died yesterday at No. 38 Ellison street, aged 70
years. He leaves his wife, a daughter and three sons.

BRUCKER WILL IS ADMITTED
Son to Get Principal of Bequest at Age of 30
The will of Otealia BRUCKER, admitted to probate yesterday afternoon by Acting Surrogate BARBITE, names Bessie
BENNETT, a daughter, executrix and gives her three-fifths of an estate valued at upwards of $10,000 in realty and
upwards of $10,000 in personalty. The income on the balance goes to a son, Arthur, 20, until he is 30, when he
will receive the principal.
The will of Mary E. CORBY, also admitted, divides an estate of $5,200 equally between a grandniece and a grand-
nephew, Isabel M. and Thomas C. HAVILL, both of Barnards.
The will of Marie P. KILBORN, also admitted, leaves $1,500 of a $2,700 estate to Eliza M. KING, a sister, and divides
the residue among five relatives, in bequests ranging from $100 to $300.

SENTENCED FOR VIOLATING PAROLE
A sentence of four months in the penitentiary was given to William McNAMARA yesterday by County Judge STEPHENS.
McNAMARA received a suspended sentence last June on an automobile theft charge. He was accused of violating his
parole.

ANDERSEN - At Ridgeway, Pa., Monday, December 18, 1916, Neil ANDERSEN, aged 24 years. He is survived by his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. John ANDERSEN; two brothers and three sisters.
-Funeral services from the home of his parents, Portland avenue, Irondequoit, Thursday, December 21, 1916, at 2
o'clock. Interment at Mount Hope cemetery.
SCHEIBLE - Last evening, at the family residence, No. 53 Scrantom street, Anthony SCHEIBLE, aged (34 or 54). He
leaves his wife, Mary E. SCHEIBLE; three sons, Herbert J., Anthony L. and Fred; one daughter, Miss Clara E. He
was a member of Branch 34, C. M. B. A., St. Leo and St. Anthony Benevolent Society.
-Funeral Saturday morning at 8:30 o'clock from the late residence and 9 o'clock at St. Michael's Church.
MILLER - At Toronto, Ontario, on Tuesday, December 18, 1916, Mrs. Minnie MILLER, aged 51 years. She is survived
by four sisters, Mrs. A. HENNEKY, Mrs. Charles SWETIAN, Mrs. W. W. HART and Mrs. Charles WING; also three brothers,
A. BELDUE, Thomas and Edward.
-The funeral will take place from the home of her sister, Mrs. HENNEKY, No. 425 Webster avenue, on Friday afternoon
at 2:30 o'clock. Interment at Grove place cemetery, Chili.
O'BRIEN - At the family residence, No. 335 Wellington avenue, Wednesday, December 20, 1916, Ellen O'BRIEN, widow
of John W. O'BRIEN. She leaves six sons, Daniel J., John J., Frank M. and Joseph M. O'BRIEN, of London, England,
William, of Rochester and Rev. James O'BRIEN, of Hornell, N. Y.; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph P. DOYLE, of this city.
-The funeral will take place Saturday morning at 8:30 o'clock from the home and at St. Monica's Church at 9 o'clock.

UNDERWOOD - At his home, No. 222 Lexington avenue, Tuesday evening, December 19, 1916, Joseph UNDERWOOD, aged 92
years. He leaves one son, Albert, of Ontario; three daughters, Mrs. Rose ABEY, Mrs. Mary DORTHY and Mrs. Fannie
HALL, all of this city.

MILLER - At her home in Churchville, N. Y., Monday afternoon, December 18, 1916, Annetta DOUD MILLER, aged 37 years.
She is survived by her husband, Theobald MILLER; one son, Vinton, of Rochester; three grandchildren, four brothers
and six sisters.
-Funeral will be held from the house Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Mr. WILSON, pastor of the M. E. Church,
of this village, to officiate. Interment will be made in the Churchville cemetery.

December 20, 1916. Tom HOBSON, aged 77(?) Years. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; three daughters, Mrs. A.
DONATELLA, Mrs. William VAN MAAREN and Mrs. John KELLY, all of this city; three sons, Henry, of Solvay, N. Y.,
Brooks of Syracuse, N. Y., and John of this city also nineteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Penn Yan, Dec. 20 - Mrs. Harriet DUNN, wife of George DUNN, died last evening at 7 o'clock in her home at Grove
Springs. She was 71 years of age, and leaves her husband; one son, William, of Grove Springs; one daughter, Mrs.
Mark WILHELM, of Penn Yan; three brothers, James MOON, of Branchport; Daniel, of Keuka, and William, of Italy Hill,
and three sisters, Mrs. Mary EMERSON, of Italy Hill; Mrs. William EMERSON, of Italy Hill, and Mrs. R. LAMPHLER,
of North Cohocton. The funeral will be held from the home at Grove Springs Friday at 11 o'clock, the Rev. Mr. GILLAM,
of Wayne, officiating. Interment will be in Lake View cemetery.

FALLS FIFTEEN FEET TO CELLAR
Penn Yan, Dec. 20 - Frank B. TOWNSEND, of Jacob street, was seriously hurt this afternoon when working as a carpenter
at the plant of the Hammondsport Vintage Company. He fell over fifteen feet through an opening in the floor to
the cellar floor, striking on his shoulder. Apparently no bone is broken but he is badly bruised and may be internally
injured. He is being attended by Dr. POOLE.

Penn Yan, Dec. 20 - Cornelius POST and Marguerite CLARK, both of Himrod, were married yesterday afternoon by the
Rev. G. Willard ROCKWELL, in the parsonage of the First Baptist Church of Penn Yan.

MARRIED FIFTY YEARS
Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Starr, of Le Roy, observe Event.
Le Roy, Dec. 20 - Monday was the fiftieth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Jasper STARR, well known residents
of Le Roy. There was no public celebration of the event, but their children and grandchildren were with them. Mr.
and Mrs. STARR were married in le Roy on December 18, 1866, by the late rev. Charles CRAVEN, then pastor of the
Le Roy Universalist Church.
Mrs. STARR was formerly Miss Lydia BARTHOLOMEW and both she and her husband were former residents of Pavilion until
ten years ago when they came to Le Roy. Both are in good health. Mr. STARR is a member of the Board of Water Commissioners
of Le Roy.

Adam W. TURNER died yesterday at the home, No. 22 Masseth street, aged 37 years. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mabel
TURNER; a son and two daughters, of this city; his father, Dr. J. C. TURNER, of Heuvelton, N. Y., and three sisters,
Mrs. Irene SNYDER, of Heuvelton, and Mrs. Martin FRASIER and Mrs. William POWELL, of Ogdensburg.
Edwin M. GEIST died yesterday at the home, No. 11 Beechwood street, aged 42 years, 11 days. He leaves his wife,
Mrs. Anna GEIST; his father, Joseph GEIST, and a sister, Mrs. Charles W. BUSH, the latter two of Elmira. He was
a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, Division No. 18.
Charles NORRIS died yesterday morning at the home, No. 83 Chestnut street, aged 77 years. He leaves his wife, Mrs.
Julia WELLS NORRIS, and a son, Fred C. WELLS. The body was taken to No. 265 North street.
Mrs. Ida M. STETSON, wife of Harry STETSON, of No. 582 South avenue, died yesterday morning at the General Hospital,
aged 48 years. The body was taken to No. 88 Clinton avenue north.

their son, Cameron C. LUITWILLER, to Miss Grace IRVIN.
Mr. and Mrs. J. E. DANN, of Honeoye Falls, will leave to-day for a trip through the Southwest, sailing from San
Francisco on January 3d for Australia and the South Sea islands and stopping at Honolulu on their return, the last
of April.
