CITY MOVES TO GAIN LAND
Maps Filed Showing Extent of Property at Lakeside to Be Condemned.
Maps showing the extent of the property owned by the
BARTHOLOMAY Brewing Company at the lakeside were filed yesterday with the city
clerk and the county clerk. This is the first step in the condemnation
proceedings instituted by the city to acquire the property for a municipal
park. Search has been completed into the title of the abutting property which
is owned by the Ontario Beach Park Amusement Company, and maps are being
prepared which will be filed in a few days to start condemnation of this
property, which is needed for the same purpose.
Examination of the maps shows that about fourteen acres of
the property covered by the deed is now located under water. Deputy
Corporation Counsel SHEPARD is handling the condemnation proceedings in behalf
of the city.

What you would think and say
If you knew the changes,
That have happened since that day.
Husband and Son.
LINDSAY - George LINDSAY
A precious one from us has gone
A voice we loved so well is still;
A place is vacant in our home.
Which never can be filled.
God in his wisdom has recalled,
The __ His love has given
And though the body slumbers here
The soul is safe in heaven
Gone, but not forgotten.
Sister Belle
LINDSAY - George, into the great beyond you passed away one year ago
today.
Your devotion, love and goodness, the beautiful
memory you left behind, never to be forgotten by us all.

SCHULZ - In loving memory of Fred G. SCHULZ, who passed away January

Wife and Son.
SALYERDS - In loving memory of my dear grandmother, Anna A. SALYERDS,
who fell asleep, January 11, 1919.
Dear grandmother, you suffered much,
You murmured not,

Until at last with broken hearts.
We saw you laid away.
Face to face with your Saviour,
In the land of no pain
We are watching and waiting
To meet you again
Your loving granddaughter, Mildred
