DIEFFENBACHER - Entered into rest Friday Jan. 1, 1937, Charles L. DIFFENBACHER of Ross Street, Gates, N. Y. He leaves two cousins, Mrs. Charles S. HARRIS of Fairport, N. Y. and Frank DILTS of Rochester.

-Funeral from Barton & Coates Parlors, 127 Cady Street, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Ernest DAVIS officiating. Interment in Livonia, N. Y.
 
HILBERT - Entered into rest in this city on Friday, Mrs. Catherine HILBERT. She is survived by her husband, John HILBERT; one son, Leonard HILBERT; four daughters, Mrs. Arthur KRAFTSCHIK, Mrs. Elmer ROBERTS and the Misses Helen M. and Gladys P. HILBERT; one brother, John C. ROTH of Allston, Mass.; one sister, Mrs. Wallace W. JOHNSON of Franklin, Mass., also three grandchildren.
-The remains were removed to her home, 97 Roth Street, from where the services will be held on Monday afternoon. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Time to be announced later.

OTTO - Harriet ENGLERT OTTO of 281 Durnan Street, beloved wife of John J. OTTO, entered into rest on Thursday, Dec. 31. Besides her husband, she leaves one son, John Jr., and a daughter, Alice; also her parents, Frank and Harriet ENGLERT; three brothers, Frank, Arthur and Bernard; one sister, Miss Esther ENGLERT.

RAPP - Clarence R. RAPP entered into rest suddenly Jan. 1, 1937. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Hazel L. RAPP; one daughter, Genevieve; one son, Clarence Jr.; his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Peter RAPP and five brothers, Percy, Ira, Floyd and Howard of Rush, N. y., and Hazen RAPP of Rochester, N. Y.

VAN LANDSCHOOT - Mrs. Maria VAN LANDSCHOOT, aged 76 years, of 24 Banker Road, Friday, Jan. 1, 1937. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Camiel DAUWE and Mrs. Edmond VERSLUYS; five sons, Henry, Richard, Julius, Edmond and Camiel VAN LANDSCHOOT; five grandchildren; four sisters and three brothers in Belgium. Deceased was a member of the Rosary Society of Our Lady of Victory Church.

WHITEHURST - Mrs. Bertha E. WHITEHURST of 205 Sherman St., died Saturday morning, Jan. 2, 1937, at Park Ave. Hospital. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. William FAGAN; two brothers, Edward KNADE of Rochester, John KNADE of Electron, Washington. She was a member of the Betsy Ross Auxiliary No. 6.
-The remains have been removed to Miller Brothers Funeral Home, 474 Lyell Ave. Funeral services in charge of Betsy Ross Auxiliary at 1 p.m. Sunday. Remains will leave Rochester at 3 p.m. Sunday for burial in Webster's Groves, Missouri.

Bath - Dr. Peter BROWN, 56, suffered a fatal heart attack in Meriden, Conn., Wednesday. Surviving is his widow, daughter of the late Prof. Karl KERSCHNER of Bath. The body will be brought here for burial in Nondaga Cemetery at 2 p.m. today with services by Steuben Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Agnes HOWARD; one daughter, Mrs. Adlaide RIGGS and one grandson, all of Scranton, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. George WADDELL of this city. Deceased was a member of Aerie No. 52 Eagles of Rochester and Elks of Scranton.

KNIGHT - The funeral services for Dr. Emil KNIGHT, of 281 Plymouth Ave. S., who died Jan. 4th, were held on Thursday afternoon with Monroe Commandery K. T. officiating. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth LONG KNIGHT and one daughter, Mary Elizabeth KNIGHT.
-Interment took place at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Dr. KNIGHT was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania class of 1894 and was a life member of Genesee Falls Lodge, Lalla Rookh Grotto, Hamilton Chapter, Monroe Commandery, Damascus Temple.
 
KENNEDY - William J. KENNEDY died at his home, 115 Dorchester Rd., this afternoon Jan. 15, 1937. Survived by 3 sons, Raymond E., Thomas H. and Francis M.; 1 sister, Mrs. Julia HAMMOND and 3 grandchildren.

McGRANE - John J. McGRANE died suddenly Saturday morning, Jan. 16, 1937, aged 78 years. Surviving are his wife, Mary; one son, Bernard B. McCARTHY - Eugene McCARTHY died Saturday Jan. 16, 1937. Surviving are two sons, Eugene J. and F. Cyril McCARTHY; one sister, Miss Florentine McCARTHY; also two grandchildren, Mary Emma and Donald McCARTHY. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, Switchmen's Union and the Loyal Order of Moose.

MUTH - Charles H. MUTH died Monday morning, Jan. 11, 1937, at the Veteran's Hospital, Los Angeles, Calif. He is survived by three stepdaughters, Mrs. Earl HAVILL, Mrs. Jack FAUST, Violet MARTIN; two nephews and several cousins. He was a member of the Spanish War Veterans, L. Boardman Smith Camp.
