"This was taken at the old Joseph Cornell house, now gone, on Union Avenue in Lynbrook. Joseph Cornell is second from right. Next to him is his second wife, Belle. His daughter Addie (adopted, my grandmother told me) is seated on the porch at the left. Joe Cornell died in 1928 and is buried with his first wife in Rockville Cemetery. She was Mary Albro, of the Woodsburgh Albro family. Addie Cornell married Albert Miller, but I do not think there were any children from that union."
