Hendrickson-Jamaica, Sept. 8, Barnardus Hendrickson, in his 81st year.

Wheeler-Valley Stream, Sept. (ink smear)_5, could be 15 or 25 or just 5, Eustace B., eldest son of Eustace H. and Mary B. Wheeler, in his 15th year.

Stillwell-Hempstead, Sept. (ink smear)_, Miss Sarah N. Stillwell, aged 54 years, 2 months and 16 days.

Cuff-Hempstead, Sept. 8, Mary Cuff, aged 59 years.

Hewlett-Washington Square, Sept. 7, Effey S. Hewlett, widow of the late Oliver Hewlett, aged 82 years, 11 months.

Deaths
Engels-Rockville Centre, Sept. 20, Frederick W. Engels, aged 42 years.

Lush-Hempstead-Mrs. Catherine A. Lush, relic of the late Carman Lush, who was a prominent citizen and well known businessman of this village, died on Tuesday. Mrs. Lush was 70 years of age. She has been a member of the Methodist Chuch for a great number of years and was highly esteemed by all who knew her. The funeral services were held on Thursday.

Remsen-North Hempstead-Henry D. Remsen, a prominent Democrat of North Hempstead, died at his home in Great Neck on Saturday aged 75 years.

Richter-Breslau-Jos. Richter, of Breslau, was accidentally drowned in apit in the brick yards at Wyandace last week. He was 16 years of age.
