Newport History Center This photograph shows some of the crocks, iron ware and other artifacts that are on display at the Newport History Center.

All of these materials and more are available for viewing when you visit the Newport History Center on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00 to 4:00pm. A volunteer is available to help visitors.

The Newport History Center has information and photos for local homes and families to help you with your genealogical reseach. Before you go,leave a copy of your family tree so that it can be added to the files.

An exceptional collection of obituaries and information about the local cemeteries will help you find your Newport ancesters. The Newport Cemetery is a short walk away, St. John's Cemetery may be walkable for you in nice weather and the volunteer can direct you to other area cemeteries.
