Letters of Administration for Nathaniel Mighell

The People of the
State of
New-York, by the Grace of God, Free and Independent.
To SALLY MIGHELL and PLATT MILES of the Town of Fabius in the
County of Onondaga. Whereas the said
NATHANIEL MIGHELL as is alledged died intestate; having whilst living,
and at
the time of his death, goods, chattles, or credits within this state,
by means
whereof, the granting administration, and also the auditing, allowing
and final
discharging the account thereof, doth appertain unto us – and we, being
desirous that the goods, chattles and credits of the said deceased may
be well
and faithfully administered, applied and disposed of DO grant unto the
said
SALLY & PLATT full power by these presents, to administer and
faithfully
dispose of all and singular the said goods, chattles and credits; to
ask,
demand, recover and receive the debts which unto the said deceased
whilst
living and at the time of his death did belong; and to pay the debts
which the
said deceased did owe, so far as such goods, chattles and credits will
thereunto
extend, and the law require; hereby requiring you to make or cause to
be made,
a true and perfect inventory, of all and singular the goods, chattles
and
credits of the said deceased, which have or shall come to your hands,
possession or knowledge, and the same so made, to exhibit, or cause to
be
exhibited into the office of the Surrogate of the county of Onondaga at
or
before the expiration of six callender months from the date hereof; and
also to
render a just and true account of administration, when thereunto
required. –
And we DO by these presents depute, constitute and appoint you the said
SALLY
MIGHELL Administratrix and PLATT MILES Adminstrator of all and singular
the
goods, chattles and credits, which were of the said NATHANIEL MIGHELL
deceased.

caused the Seal of Office of our said Surrogate to be hereunto affixed.
