This Indenture, made the twenty ninth day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand, eight hundred and fourteen Between David Lawrence of the Town of Onondaga of the first part and Sterling Cole of the same place of second part witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of the sum of Two hundred Dollars current Money of the United States to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged hath granted bargained sold remised released aliened and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell remise release alien and confirm unto the said party of the second part in his actual possession now being and to his heirs and assigns forever All that certain piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the Town of Onondaga on Lot Number One hundred and Eighty seven in the late Onondaga reservation and is fifty acres to be taken from the North end of said Lot. Subject to the principal and interest due to the State on this part of said Lot together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances there___ to belonging or in any wise appurtaining and the reversion and _______ remainder and remainders unto issurance profits thereof and all the estate right with interest claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part either in law or equity, of in and to the above bargained premises with the hereditaments and appurtenances to have and to hold the said fifty acres of land to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit and belief of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns for ever the above bargained premises. In wintess whereof the said party of the first part hath hereunto interchangeably set his hand and seal the day and year first above written. David Lawrence {L.S.}. The four last lines but one erased before execution. Sealed and delivered in the presence of Daniel Moseley State of New York ss. On this Thirteenth day of May Eighteen hundred and fourteen before me came David Lawrence a person to me well known and acknowledged that he executed the within Deed freely and voluntarily for the uses and purposes therein mentioned, having examined the erasures ______ it to be Recorded Daniel Moseley Master in Chancery.
