Mrs. John J. Klotz Leaves Three Children and Thirteen Grandchildren
The funeral of Mrs. Susanna C. Klotz, wife of John J. Klotz,
who died on Thursday at No. 915 McBride street, will be held to-morrow
at 9 A.M. from her late home and a half hour later from the Church of the
Assumption, of which she had been a communicant for may years. Mrs. Klotz
was born at Philadelphia, Pa., on October 14th, 1835. On September 11th,
1855 she was married to Mr. Klotz and they came to this city to live on
April 26th, 1864. Had Mrs. Klotz lived until next September, the fiftieth
anniversary of her wedding would have been celebrated. She had been in
poor health for some time, but was confined to bed for only two days. Besides
her husband, Mrs. Klotz leaves three children, John P. Klotz, Bernard A.
Klotz and Miss Rose O. Klotz all of this city. There are also thirteen
grandchildren. (There is a photo of Mrs, Klotz along with the obituary.)
