Sheriff Sydney TREBLE has received a request from a Detroit agency for assistance in locating any member of the family of John CARR, who was born about 1835, the son of James and Ann CARR of English descent.

The family first settled in Pennsylvania and later moved to New York and the inquiry states that some of them are believed living in Orleans County. A fortune awaits any of them located, according to the Detroit letter.
