Floyd F. Root being duly sworn in open court does ?????? and say that Henry R. Root died in the town of Albion, Orleans County New York on the 20 day of February 1897 and that at the time of his death he was a citizen of the United States of America and a resident of the town of Albion, Orleans County, N. Y.; that he died intestate leaving surviving him the deponent as his only heir, that deponent is Floyd F. Root and he is 68 years of age and resides in the town of Albion, Orleans County N. Y. and is the only son and child of the said Henry R. Root; that deponent has read the petition for the probate of heirship herein, and that the several parcels of land mentioned and described therein and consisting of about 567??? Acres more or less, and located in the town of Albion, Orleans County N. Y. were owned by the said Henry R. Root at the time of his death and that deponent became entitled to same by inheritance upon the death of the said Henry R. Root.
