At the Surrogate’s Court Held at Albion in and for the County of Orleans on the 11th day of February 1878.

The Surrogate aforesaid, makes and records this summary of the accounts of Charles A. Harris and Reuben Thomas Root as executors &c of Reuben Root late of Yates in the said County, deceased, as finally settled and allowed by him upon the application of the said Executors.

In the same Matter:

On the 7th day of May, 1887

at the place aforesaid, the said Charles A. Harris & Thomas Root executors &c as aforesaid appeared and produced before the said Surrogate due proof of the service in the mode prescribed by law, of the Citation heretofore issued in this matter: which said Citation and process being duly filed, the said *Executors appeared in person & Chas A. Ke---(?) as atty for said Root & John (?) as atty for said and Reuben Root. Special guardians of the (?) named in the petition. Harris (?) also appearing said proceedings were only continued by adjournment to this date & said executors (?) accounts (?)

upon oath, and the vouchers and accounts, together with the inventory of the estate of the said deceased, then and there produced; and it appearing that the said Executors have accounted for the whole of the said estate; and that they have not made any profit from any increase thereof; and the said accounts having been adjusted and filed by the said Surrogate and a summary statement of the same , as so adjusted and filed, having been above and herewith recorded:

IT IS ORDERED, That the said accounts be, and the same are, finally settled and allowed as adjusted and filed by the said Surrogate and it appearing that Jewitt WHITE has died since the petition herein was filed & left as his only heirs (?) WILLIAMS & Almon WHITE
