LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

I, John H Stevens, of Knowlesville, Orleans County, and State of New York, being of sound mind and memory, do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, in manner following that is to say:

First: I direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses.

Second: I give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my property, both real and personal property, to my two children, George A Stevens, and Florence E Ostrander, share and share alike.

Lastly: I hereby nominate and appoint my said son, George A Stevens, to be executor of this my last Will and Testament; Hereby revoking all former wills by me made In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this 18th day of February, 1914.

We, whose names are hereto subscribed, Do Certify, that John H. Stevens, the testator, subscribed his name to this instrument in our presence and in the presence of each of us, and at the same time, in our presence and hearing declared the same to be his last Will and Testament, and requested us, and each of us, to sign our names thereto as witnesses to the execution thereof, which we hereby do in the presence of the testator and of each other and write opposite our names our respective places of residence.

I, Dencie L. Rogers, Clerk of the Surrogate's Court of said County of Orleans do hereby certify that on the day of the date hereof, in the Surrogate's Court of the County of Orleans, before the Hon Fred L. Downs, Surrogate of said County, the last Will and Testament of John H. Stevens late of the town of Ridgeway, in said County, deceased being the foregoing and hereto annexed written instrument, was upon due proof admitted to probate as a Will valid to pass real and personal estate.
