My grandmother  Opal Mildred Peterson was born 06-07-1902 and died 12-82 (Parents: Charles Lynn Peterson 1871-1964 / Angeline Bacon Peterson1876-?).   She was born in Union City (Erie) PA., and they lived most of their lives around the Oswego/Fulton area, except for 15 years, around 1925-1940, in which she lived within the Buffalo area.  The Petersons had 10 other children besides my grandmother.  I have a few of their names.   
 
    She was married at least 3 times: 
1st to Arden M Burr around 1925 ( West Falls, NY - Had a gas station there),  
2nd to Eugene Gerhard 10-05-1935 in Orchard Park, NY.and 
3rd to Ansil Briggs ( married in 1946 I believe ) until he passed away in 1954.  (Ansil's first wife was named Jessie )  Opal carried the Northup name until she married Burr.   She had one son, Ralph Ceylon Northup,  7-20-1921 - 08-11-1992.   He carried the Northup name until 1938 when he legally had it changed to Burr.  The Briggs and Peterson  kin should be fairly common around the Oswego area.   Opal and Ansil Briggs are buried in the Vermillion Cemetery in New Haven, I believe with others.
