HAPPY VALLEY CEMETERY INDEX
and
LAND RECORD FOR CEMETERY PROPERTY,
 WILLIAMSTOWN, N. Y.

Many thanks to Kathleen Novicki, a frequent volunteer of ours, for contributing the Happy Valley Cemetery Index, and the Abstract of Deed for the Cemetery property.  Kathleen says "I just received a copy of a land record where my ancestor James Allen, sold his land for the Happy Valley Cemetery in 1866, and a researcher, Jack Burke found what looks like a handwritten plot plan for the Cemetery with lot numbers and names written in the rectangles, and the gate and path location."  Thanks also go to Jack Burke and Glenna Gorski, Williamstown Historian.  Also check out the Happy Valley Cemetery Burials.

For more information on Kathleen's family, see the Treasure's of the Past Page, "Hazel B. Allen's Scribble-in-books."

7/8/00  Charles MULVERHILL/MULVIHILL
It has been brought to my attention by LuAnn Tanner Dobson, that Charles F. Mulverhill's Military Information has him listed as Mulvihill.   It would be advisable when researching this
line to check for both spelling variations.
