Know All Men by these presents that that (sic) I THOMAS ASKEW of the town of Scriba in the county of Oswego and state of New York considering the uncertainty of this life and being of sound mind and memory do make and declare and publish this my last will and testament. First after paying all debts against my estate if any there may be I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved wife ANNA F. all my personal estate of every name and nature whatsoever and I further bequeath her my dwelling house and barn and ten acres of land adjoining thereunto on the south of said dwelling house and so much of my wood as lays in the rear of said ten acres mentioned above. And further in addition I give to my said wife eleven acres of land adjoining said ten acres on the west embracing the orchard and so much of the wood land as is lying in the rear thereof to be hers during the period of her natural life and at her death the ten acres above named and the adjoining wood lot to revert to my son WILLIAM C. ASKEW and the adjoining eleven acres and the wood land in the rear to revert to my son ROBERT G. ASKEW. The above described property to be my wifes during her life for all purposes except the selling thereof and I intend the above to constitute her thirds. And I also further give and bequeath to my wife ANNA F. ten acres of land and the dwelling house thereon known as the cottage farm lying on the west side of my other lands to be her own and subject to her own free disposal providing the same remains in my possession and unsold at the time of my decease. Second I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved son ROBERT G. ASKEW eleven acres of land next to and adjoining the eleven acres bequeathed to my wife ANNA F. with the wood land lying in the rear to be his during his life and if he decease leaving heirs then to be the property of said heirs together with the eleven acres which will revert to ROBERT G. ASKEW after his mother decease and in case he leaves no heirs then the above described lands to be the property of WILLIAM C. ASKEW and his heirs forever. Third I give and bequeath to my well beloved son WILLIAM C. ASKEW twenty acres of land lying east of and adjoining ten acres of land bequeathed to my wife ANNA F. save and except thirty-three feet square of land which I reserve and bequeath for the purpose of a burial ground for the members of the ASKEW FAMILY only. Said square of land to take in and include the place where my late son THOMAS lies now buried and is to be kept for that purpose only forever and to be kept in good order and repair by all future owners of the lands I now bequeath to my son WILLIAM C. ASKEW. The wood land lying in the rear of the above twenty acres of land, also the remaining wood lot being the east end of said lot. Also the cider mill located on said twenty acres to be his forever and in case he dies without heirs the above to revert to heirs of ROBERT G. CAROLINE and MARGARET to be theirs forever. Fourth I give and bequeath to my grandson WILLIAM T. ASKEW son of my late son THOMAS now deceased ten acres of land on which the dwelling house erected by his late father now stands also ten acres of land lying next to and adjoining on the east side of the above named ten acres which includes the five acres purchased of BENJAMIN PETERSON and wife and five acres in the rear thereof. And in case he should die without issue then the same property to revert to HERBERT and CLARA ASKEW, son and daughter of ROBERT G. ASKEW. Fifth I give and bequeath to my well beloved daughter CAROLINE O. ASKEW (now STONE) the west half of twenty two acres of land lying on the north side of the highway passing my dwelling house being a part of lot 77 to be hers forever. Sixth I give and bequeath to my well beloved daughter MARGARET S. ASKEW (now TURNER) the east one half of twenty two acres of land lying north of the highway passing any dwelling house being a part of lot 77 to be hers forever. Seventh and lastly, I do hereby
appoint RALPH E. STONE of the city of Oswego, JOEL A. TURNER of the town
of Scriba and my wife ANNA F. ASKEW the executors and executrix of this
my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills and testaments
by ____me made in testimony whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal
this 22d day of January 1872 - eighteen hundred & seventy two.

Askew the testator therein mentioned to be his last will and testament
and he at the same time acknowledged to us and each of us that he had signed
and sealed the same and we thereupon at his request and in his presence
and in the presence of each other signed our names thereunto as attending
witnesses JOHN CORDINGBY residing at Scriba Oswego Co N.Y., JAMES K PROPER
residing at Scriba Oswego Co, N.Y. Whereas I THOMAS ASKEW of the
town of Scriba in the County of Oswego and State of New York aforesaid
have made my last will and testament in writing bearing date the twenty
third day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
seventy two and by which I have given and bequeathed to my grandson WILLIAM
T. ASKEW son of my late son THOMAS ASKEW (now deceased) ten acres of land
on which the dwelling erected by his late father now stands also ten acres
of land lying next to and adjoining the east side of the above ten acres
which includes the five acres purchased of BENJAMIN PETERSON and wife and
five acres in the rear thereof. Now therefore I do by this my writing
which I hereby declare to be a codicil to my last will and testament and
to be taken as a part thereof order and direct that my will is that only
the ten acres of land on which the dwelling house erected by his late father
now stand be given to my grandson WILLIAM T. ASKEW in full of the said
legacy given and bequeathed to him and that the remainder or the remaining
part of the said legacy be given to my son ROBERT G. ASKEW and in case
my grandson WILLIAM T. ASKEW die without issue the ten acres of land
and dwelling house to revert to my grandson SIDNEY HERBERT ASKEW son of
my son ROBERT G. ASKEW. And lastly it is my desire that this codicil
be annexed to and made a part of my last will and testament as aforesaid
to all intents and purposes. In witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and seal this twenty second day of February in the year of our
Lord on thousand and eight hundred and seventy four.

| Last Will and Testament. I, Benjamin Coe Turner, of the
Town of
My said son is to have the use of
said farm during the term of his natural life or so long as he occupies
and uses it and I then devise the same to my grandson, Kenneth B. Turner,
the son of said Marshall Bertrand Turner to be his absolutely. I
also, likewise, limit my device to my said son of the farm in said town
of Scriba, described substantially as follows to wit: The lots 93 &
105 in the 18th township of Scriba’s Patent is bounded on the East by lands
owned by ???????Church on the North - by the public highway on the West,
by the public highway and on the South by lands owned by L. L. Parkhurst
and contains about fifty (50) acres. My will is that my said son,
Marshall Bertrand Turner shall have the use of this property during the
term of his natural life or as long as he uses and occupies it and then
I give and devise the same to my grandson Benjamin Coe Turner, named after
my name, the son of said Marshall Bertrand Turner and to be his absolutely,
excepting and reserving in the cemetery on said farm, lots numbers 67,
69 &70 for the uses of the family burial place forever. Likewise
I make, constitute and appoint Marshall Bertrand Turner of the said Town
of Scriba to be the executor of this my last Will and Testament and I hereby
revoke all former Wills by me made. In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto
subscribed my name and affixed my seal the Twelfth day of February in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four.
The foregoing instrument was at the date thereof subscribed by Benjamin Coe Turner the testator therein named in the presence of me and each of us. He at the time of making such subscription acknowledged that he executed the same and declared the said instrument so subscribed by him to be his Last Will and Testament whereupon ? sue at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other to hereby subscribe to witnesses thereto.

First. - I direct the payment of my just debts, if any, and funeral expenses. Second - I hereby make the following gifts and bequests to wit: I hereby give and bequeath to George Turner, son of my deceased brother George, the sum of five hundred dollars. Having paid considerable sums of money for the benefit of my deceased brother, Morris Turner, in his lifetime, I therefore do not bequeath anything to his heirs. I give and bequeath to the children of my deceased nephew, Joel A. Turner, who was the son of my deceased brother, Lewis Turner, the sum of one hundred dollars to each. I give and bequeath to Lucien Turner son of my deceased brother Lewis Turner the sum of five hundred dollars and to Henry Turner, son of my said deceased brother, Lewis Turner, twenty five dollars. I give and bequeath to my brother Russell Turner, two thousand dollars and to his daughter, Sarah A. Wales, the sum of five hundred dollars. I give and bequeath to my brother

I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Eleanor L. Turner, the sum of four thousand dollars together with all of my household furniture, beds and bedding and carpets, and all other household articles, except my said safe and valuable papers, and I also give her such fuel as may be left at the time of my death. I also give and devise unto my said wife the house and lot where I now reside and which was conveyed to me by William E. Blossom and wife by deed dated April 1, 1882 and recorded April 1, 1882 in Oswego County Clerks office in Book No. 171 of deeds at page 441. The foregoing bequests and device to my said wife all upon the condition that she accepts the same in lieu of dower and of all claims against my said estate. I hereby give and bequeath all of the rest residue and remainder of my said estate to Marshall Bertrand Turner and Cora L. Worden children of my deceased brother, Benjamin Coe Turner, and in case of the death of either of them before my death such portion to belong to his or her children. In case of the death of any of the legatees herein mentioned, before my death, it is my will that such portion be given to their children respectively. I hereby authorize and empower my executors hereinafter named and the survivor or successor of them to sell and convey my real estate except as above devised to my wife, and I also direct my said executor to give my wearing apparel to my brothers, if living, and in case of their death to such other relations as shall seem best. Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint said Marshall Bertrand Turner, and said Joseph R. Worden to be executors of this, my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. That I am in my right mind and capable
to make a will I have these witnesses.

of said county do hereby certify that I have compared the foregoing copy
of the last will and testament, and the attestation clause thereon of Margaret
A. Turner, late of the Town of Scriba, in said County of Oswego, N.Y.,
deceased, which Will was admitted to probate in said Surrogate’s Court,
on the 19th day of July 1894, as a Will valid to pass real and personal
property. With the record of said last Will and Testament and the
attestation clause thereon, now remaining in this office and that the same
is a correct transcript wherefrom and of the whole of such original record.
