Charles S. Markham & w. 
to
Farrell Bough

This Indenture made this First day of November, in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy-Seven, Between Charles S. Markham of the Town of Volney, in the County of Oswego, & State of New York, and Almary A. Markham his wife, of the first part, and Farrell Bough of the Town of Scriba, County & State aforesaid, of the second part, Witnesseth that the said party of the first part, in consideration of the sum of One Thousand and Sixty-Seven Dollars them duly paid, have sold, and by these Presents do grant and convey to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, All that Tract or Parcel of Land, situate in the Town of Scriba, County of Oswego, and State of New York, described as the North Fifty acres of the East One-Hundred acres of Lot. No. 46 of the 17th Township of Scriba’s Patent, Excepting and Reserving from said Fifty acres, Fourteen & 41/100 acres thereof heretofore conveyed to J. Snow by the parties of the first-part.  The parcel hereby intended to be conveyed contains Thirty-Five and 59/100 acres of land.  With the appurtenances, and all the estate, title and interest therein of the said parties of the first-part.  And the said Charles S. Markham does hereby covenant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that the premises thus conveyed in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns he will forever Warrant and Defend against any person whomsever lawfully claiming the same, or any part thereof.  In Witness Whereof, the parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first-above written.

State of New York, County of Oswego, ss:  On this tenth day of November, in the year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy-Seven before me, the subscriber, personally came Charles S. Markham and Almary A. Markham his wife, to me known to be the same persons described in and who executed the within instrument, and severally acknowledged that they executed the same, and the said Almary A. Markham on a private examination by me, apart from her husband, ackowledged that she executed the same freely, and without and fear or compulsion of her said husband.

Farrell Bough

 This Indenture made this 13th day of March, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety-Four Between Farrell Bough, of the Twon of Scriba, County of Oswego and State of New York, of the first part, and Margaret Bough of the same place of the second part.  Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part, in consideration of the sum of One Dollar, and other valuable considerations to him duly paid, has sold, and by these Presents, doth grant and convey to the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, All that Tract or Parcel of Land situate in the Town of Scriba, County of Oswego, and State of New York, described as the North Fifty acres of the East-One Hundred acres of Lot No. 46 of the 17th Township of Scriba’s Patent, excepting and reserving from said Fifty acres, Fourteen and 41/100 acres thereof heretofore conveyed to J. Snow by Charles Markham and wife.  The parcel hereby intended to be conveyed contains Thirty Five and 59/100 acres of land.  Also All that other Piece or Parcel of Land situate in the Town of Scriba, County & State aforesaid containing about (16) acres of land and being the same premises conveyed by and from Francis Bough to Farrell Bough, dated Jany. 22d , 1862, subject to reservations therein contained, to which deed references is hereby made for a more full description.  With the appurtenances, and all the estate, tithe and interest herein of the said party of the first party, and the said party of the first part does hereby covenant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, the premises thus conveyed in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, he will forever Warrant and Defend against any person whomsever lawfully claiming the same or any part thereof.  In Witness Whereof, the party of the first part has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written        Farrell Bough L.S.
Sealed and Delivered in Presence of H. C. Benedict
State of New York, County of Oswego, City of Oswego, ss:  On this 15th day of March in the year Eighteen Hundred and Ninety-Four, before me, the subscriber, personally appeared Farrell Bough to me personally known to be the same person described in and who executed the foregoing instrument, and he acknowledged to me that he executed the same.
