LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
I, Mary Elizabeth Mattison,
of the City of Oswego, in the County of Oswego, and State of New York,
being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last
Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say:
First. - I direct that all
my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.
Second. - I give to my daughter
Olive Mattison all my property both real and personal.
Third. - If there be sufficient
property I request that not to exceed three hundred dollars be set asside
to be used in defraying the funeral expenses of my husband Solomon W. Mattison.
Lastly, I herby appoint Unice Barnes,
of Oswego City, New York, executrix of this, my
last Will and Testament, with full
power and authority to sell and convey, lease or
mortgage real estate: hereby
revoking all former wills by me made.
In Witness Whereof, I have herunto
subscribed my name the 19th day of August, in the year One thousand nine
hundred and twenty-six.

subscribed, Do Certify, that on the 19th day of August,

subscribed her name to this instrument
in our presence and in the presence of each of
us, and at the same time, in our
presence and hearing, declared the same to be her
last Will and Testament, and requested
us, and each of us, to sign our names thereto
as witnesses to the execution thereof,
which we hereby do in the presence of the
testator and of each other, on the
said date, and write opposite our names our
respective places of residence.

Mary Elizabeth Mattison was the second wife of Solomon W. Mattison.

WILL
OF TRUMAN G. MATTISON
I, Truman G. Mattison, of the town of Scriba in the County of Oswego and
State of New York being of sound disposing mind and memory do make and
publish this my last will and testament, in manner following, that is to
say.
First - I direct that my funeral
charges, the expenses of administering my estate and all my debts be paid.
Second - I give and bequeath
unto Hamilton Sterns the sum of three hundred dollars
($300.) And if there shall be no
personal property out of which the same can be paid I
expressly charge the same and the
payment thereof upon the real estate whereof I
may die seized or possessed, and
I direct that the same be paid to the said Hamilton
Sterns within three months after
the death of my wife Amelia S. Mattison.
Third - I give, devise and
bequeath unto my beloved wife Amelia S. Mattison during her natural life
all the rest and residue of my personal property of whatsoever name and
nature and all my real estate whereof I may die seized or possessed and
the use
thereof during and for her natural
life. And from and after her death I give, bequeath and devise the
same to my son Lucas V. S. Mattison and to my son Malcolm G. Mattison,
if the said Malcolm shall return to the said town of Scriba and report
himself to my son Lucas V. S. Mattison within five years (5) after the
death of my wife Amelia S. Mattison.
And in case the said Malcolm G. Mattison
shall not return to the town of Scriba and
report himself to the said Lucas
V. S. Mattison within five years after the death of my
said wife then and in that case
I give bequeath and devise unto my son Lucas V. S.
Mattison, his heirs and assigns
forever all the rest and residue of my personal property
and real estate of which I shall
die seized or possessed.
Fourth - I appoint my wife
Amelia S. Mattison Executrix of this my last will and
testament hereby revoking all former
wills made by me.
In witness whereof, I have herunto
subscribed my name this twenty-seventh day of
September, one thousand eight hundred
and sixty-nine.

We whose names are hereto subscribed
do certify that Truman G. Mattison, the
testator subscribed his name to
this instrument in our presence and in the presence of
each of us and at the same time
he declared in our presence and hearing that the
same was his last will and testament,
and requested us and each of us to sign our
names thereto as witnesses to the
execution thereof and which we have done
accordingly in the presence of the
testator and of each other the day and year of the
date of the said will.

Will of Solomon Mattison
In the Name of God Amen
I Solomon Mattison of the Town of
Scriba in the County of Oswego & State of New
York of the age of seventy-seven
years & being of sound mind & memory Blessed be
the name of the Almighty God for
the same do make publish and declare this my last
will and Testament in the manner
following that is to say:
I give and bequest and devise to
my son Truman G. Mattison, out of my personal
property and also an equal share
of my personal property that may be left after fulfilling the requirement
of my will counting all notes, interest, or accounts that is against him
or part of said personal property in the agragate or whole excepting the
principle of one note given for three hundred dollars given for the purchase
price of six acres of land deeded to him. The above note of three
hundred dollars has since been paid since I made this will and I give him
my note for the same amount of $300 to be paid out of my personal property
before dividing when I have done with it.
I give and devise my son Hiram Mattison
an equal share of all my personal property for
fulfilling the requirements to pay
individual heirs.
I give and devise to my son Horatio
Nelson Mattison an equal share of my personal
property after paying all demands
that will be given to the heirs in this will.
I give and devise my son Elon G.
Mattison one equal share of all my personal property
that may remain after paying all
just demands and all notes, interest and accounts are
to be put in as personal property
to make up the whole sum for personal property in
this agenda.
I give and devise to my son Judson
Mattison an equal share of all my personal property with the rest of the
heirs I mean (to explain) all my children. Hiram, Truman, H. Nelson,
Elon G., Judson, Martin, Hampton, Lucy, Cynthia and Sarah M. Crandall Les
instatate my lawful heirs.
I give and devise to my sons Hampton
L. Mattison and Caleb Martin Mattison each an
equal share of my personal property
with the other heirs subject to the payment by
them each two hundred dollars to
Sarah M. Crandall out of their respective shares.
I give and devise to my daughter
Lucy Morgan five hundred dollars and an equal share
of all my personal property recerting
all notes on int and demands against her as part
of the whole of said personal property.
I give and devise to my daughter
Cynthia Baker an equal share of all my personal
property and also five hundred dollars
deducting from the five hundred dollars all notes
and demands against her or her husband
George Baker where or not shared or not.
I give and devise to my granddaughter
Sarah four hundred dollars and an equal share of all my personal property
after paying the requests herein above specified.
I herby nominate constatute? Appoint
my sons Hiram Mattison and Judson Mattison
as Executors of this my last will
and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me
made. In witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand & seal this fifteenth day of
August in the year 1866.
