Rogers of Oswego.
Marie Conde Rogers, wife of
Lebbius Harding Rogers, jr., of Oswego, died at 5 o'clock this morning
at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Swits Conde, 6 West Fifty-sixth
street, Manhattan. Mrs. Rogers was born in Oswego August 15, 1875,
and was married at the Fifth Avenue Church, Manhattan, Mary 17, 1898.
On Sunday she gave birth to twin girls. She was educated in Oswego
at her home and at Miss Brown's school in New York, where she graduated
two years ago. The remains will be taken to Oswego on Monday and
funeral services will be held on Tuesday. It was with Miss Conde
with whom Ensign G. L. P. Stone attempted to elope from the Yates Hotel,
in Syracuse, in 1897."

"Death of an Infant.
OSWEGO, Sept 9, - Laura Rogers,
infant daughter of Lebbeus Harding Rogers, jr., of New York and the late
Marie Conde Rogers, died at the home of Swits Conde, her grandfather, at
3 o'clock on Monday morning. The child had been ill for several days
and death was not unexpected. She and her twin sister have been at
the Conde home since the death of their mother shortly after their birth,
about four months ago. The funeral took place on Wednesday."

"Mrs. Mary
Kingsley Conde, 82, widow of Frederic Conde, a member of one of Oswego's
best-known families, died Sunday, Oct. 29. She resided at 141 W. Fifth
St. until her health failed. She was born in Syracuse in July 1878,
daughter of Elisha Pierce and Emily Hollister Kingsley. On January
7, 1908, she was married to Mr. Conde who founded the Frederic Conde Knitting
Company here in 1891. After Mr. Conde's death on Sept. 14, 1924,
Mrs. Conde successfully managed the knitting mill for several years.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church. There are no immediate survivors.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Pierce-Meyer
funeral home, 138 W. Fourth St., with burial in Riverside cemetery. Friends
may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home."

a.m. in the Pierce-Meyers funeral home. The Rev. Morrison Rider, pastor
of the Presbyterian church, officiated. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.
Mrs. Conde
was the widow of Frederick Conde, founder of the Conde Knitting Co. here
in 1891."
