According to their records members of the 121st NY Infantry were held captive there. At the Florence National Cemetery, which was started due to the deaths at the stockade, there are 2300 soldiers buried as unknowns. There are efforts to identify these soldiers. If, by any chance, you have any information concerning soldiers who died at the Florence Stockade, please visit this site and share that information with the Friends.
